Ken Tresidder - Eb Bass

Ken started playing on Euphonium with the Camborne Town Band, before joining St Stythians in 1961. Soon after that he was "promoted" to Eb Bass. He became secretary in 1979, and plays a very active role in the running of the band. Ken became the Musical Director of the Training Band in 2000, and has done a brilliant job overseeing the progression of many of its members into the Senior Band.

Francis McWilliams - Eb Bass

Francis is from St Ives. He was a history teacher at Redruth school, but has recently taken on work for a building company. Before joining St Stythians in 2004 he had played for Lanner, Caharrack & St Day, and Illogan Sparnon.

David 'Chield' Burliegh - Bb Bass

David, aka 'Chield', is a trained toolmaker, and is his job now involves gardening. He has been a member of the band since he started playing in 1965.
